Dear Students and Families,
I write this letter with the utmost gratitude and appreciation to you and all members of Kathy Hansen School of Dance. I'd like to announce my retirement, and closing of KHSOD, effective June 24, 2024.
Ever since I started this business 49 years ago as the Owner, Director and Teacher, I've had nothing but positive memories. Sending an email seems very impersonal, but it was the best option to reach all our families in a timely manner. KHSOD will finish our 2024 season on a high positive note fulfilling all of our planned events including classes, USTD Dance Competition, Strawberry Festival Parade and our 49th Annual Recital.
I'd also like to take the time to thank you personally for making my experiences here so special. Working here has truly been an honor. Although the situation is bittersweet for me, I'm excited to spend time with family and enjoy time at home.
I wish nothing but the best to you and your family going forward. The future is an exciting prospect, and if there's any way I can be of assistance to you, please don't hesitate to ask.
